Now in the 3rd generation of our family business, established in 1928.  Solent Plastics maintains an unrivalled range and stock of Plastic Storage Boxes, Containers, Crates and other storage products for every application.

Our close ties with UK, European and US manufacturers ensure we are well set up to deliver competitive prices and delivery to customers anywhere in the UK or Europe. We stock specialist ranges of big boxes, workboxes, picking bins, recycling storage, industrial, marine and educational plastic storage products. 

In addition to standard stock we offer a huge range of Special Offer Boxes and Products at greatly reduced prices.

Suppliers to the NHS, Local Authorities, Government Departments, Utilities, Military, Universities & Colleges, Fire and Security Service, Air and Shipping, Industry, Marine and Educational sectors and also Domestic customers. We despatch same day and use a Next Day courier / pallet service to get your order to you fast.

About Us

Our long established Showroom and Warehouses allow us to offer an unrivalled range and stock of storage boxes from the major British, European and American manufacturers. 

With storage products having so many end users we supply to a hugely diverse customer base. This ranges from Central Government Departments and large Multinational organisations right down to the private customer who requires one box for the home.

Being based in Southampton, we have developed close ties to the local marine industry. This is based on the supply of high quality watertight cases and kegs to craft all over the globe, including cruise liners and Volvo Ocean Challenge yachts.

Solent Plastics also supply to a range of Educational institutions nationwide, ranging from the largest Universities to small pre-schools.

We are a major supplier of storage containers to Hampshire and Birmingham Schools and Colleges and offer a sample and advisory service to our educational customers.

We also operate a Box Hire Service in the Solent area, providing a fast when required for industrial and domestic customers for short or long term hire for extra storage or relocation purposes..

We use Next Day carrier and pallet services as well as Royal Mail to enable us to reach customers quickly in the cheapest way possible.

Locally we operate a van delivery service which covers the Solent area.

We operate a no minimum order policy for all customers.

• We will confirm delivery on phone or call / email back with quote and delivery cost
• Pay by Debit / Credit card over the phone, or we can send pro-forma to pay by BACS or Cheque
• Confirmation sent by email or call back if required
• Your goods are despatched same day when possible (Monday - Friday)
• Goods are sent on Next day courier / pallet service
