As the first ever UK supplier of the now world-renowned Really Useful Boxes range, Solent Plastics offers a huge selection of shapes and sizes that range from 0.2 litres to 145 litres.
Launched in 1999, the range started with a strong, transparent stacking storage box to store records. This evolved into storage solutions for video tapes, CDs and DVDs. Over the years, further products were manufactured to provide a simple, durable storage solution to satisfy a multitude of requirements.
Initial promotional trials led to many new sizes and related products being introduced to the range, all of which were customer-driven. This resulted in a full range of useful, practical storage products.
Since the launch of the first Really Useful Box, Solent Plastics now has a diverse selection to cater to various storage requirements – we stock almost the entire range!
The brand has a number of notable features: the clear food-grade recyclable polypropylene structure allows easy viewing of the contents, while the ergonomic design means proper account has been taken of the people who use them and their requirements - to ensure functional designs.
Stackable with or without lids, the boxes are complete with locking handles to hold the lid securely in place when closed. A reinforced flat bottom ensures extra safety for items in storage, including those heavier contents.
The RUB38 is a unique box designed to store 100 x 12-inch LP vinyl records – and it’s still available! The RUB3 and RUB18 boxes are designed to store CDs and DVDs. Popularly used for under-bed storage, the shallow RUB70, RUB50, RUB33 and RUB20 boxes provide masses of extra storage capacity.
Incorporating a handy internal lip; models RUB64, RUB42, RUB35, RUB25, RUB24 and RUB19 are suitable for hanging items such as foolscap and suspension files. In fact, the Really Useful Boxes range is ideal for storing just about anything including business cards, craft items, stationery, DIY items such as plugs and screws, paintbrushes, cables, kitchen utensils, first aid kits, sewing kits, photographs... the list goes on!
