Solent Plastics now supply silica gel sachets for extra protection of items being stored in damp environments.
Our silica gel packs supplied in 25g pouches will absorb any trace amounts of moisture from your containers before it has a chance to damage your items.
Added protection for many storage applications: Clothing, photographs, books, electrical goods, paperwork, keepsakes, collectibles etc.
The required amount of desiccant relates to the volume of the storage container.
As a rough guide we recommend approximately 5 grams of silica gel per cubic foot of space.
